Scary monsters is the stand of Diego Brando, he is a minor major antagonist in Steel Ball Run. Namesake: David Bowie: Scary Monsters
Scary Monsters was first introduced in Chapter 28 and we saw him last saw him in person in Chapter 76
Appearance
Scary Monsters transforms Diego into a Utahraptor, with stripes spelling out "DIO" all over his body and spikes on his hair. After being under the influence of the Stand for a while, Diego is able to morph into a hybrid humanoid form while still retaining sharp teeth, claws, dinosaur legs, and a tail.
Stand user
Scary Monsters stand user is diego brando a alternate universe version of Dio Brando, in this universe insead of his mother dying when he was young, his mother moved out of their house with him and they slept in stables in exchange for diego training the horses sine he had a natural gift and after training horses for all of those year he realised you could win lots of money from racing and made it his life goal to win lots of money and live a comfortable life.
Diego is a young man with a slender to medium physique and below average height. He has black brows, light eyebrows, and bright, alert eyes.
Diego typically dresses in a turtleneck sweater with a diagonal grid pattern, light, mid-forearm length gloves, Jodhpurs with flared hips, and tall, dark riding boots. His equestrian helmet has the initials "DIO" loosely affixed on bending pins protruding from a little ribbon tied at its front.
The word "TURBO" is carved on the iris of the Corpse's left eye, and after fusing it with his own, he momentarily obtains the mark "DIO" beneath that eye, in contrast to the cross Gyro receives from the right eye.
Powers and Abilities
Diego got his abilities from the eye of the holy corpse while being infected from a dinosaur virus, after the virus was finished Diego then had the ability to turn into a Utahraptor at will and later he can turn into a Utahraptor human hybrid.
As well as being able to turn into a Utahraptor he also has the ability to infect others and inanimate objects through a bite and can turn them into his dinoaur minions
Diego in his dinosaur form is the only person that can see his nail bullet shots and dodge them this makes it almost impossible to hit him if you combine that with his increased strength and speed he is very strong.
Conclusion
Scary monsters is a very good stand abilty for ambush attacks and other strategical attacks.
